The Soqotra Heritage Project is an attempt to bring together all existing and new information about the multi-faceted cultural heritage of the Soqotra Archipelago – in the face of the large programmes that have documented the natural heritage of the islands.
This has been largely achieved by the actions of a team of Soqotri experts and their efforts to engage all sectors of Soqotri society in heritage conservation. They have been supported by a small number of dedicated individuals, with support from a wide range of experts and funding agencies.
